Onboarding
Complete the post-signup wizard to set up your Speechdash profile for listening and transcription.
After your first signup, Speechdash walks you through a short onboarding wizard. Existing users who already completed onboarding skip this step automatically.
Where are you based?
Steps
Name: Enter your first and last name. These appear in the sidebar avatar (initials) and account settings.
Country: Pick your country. Speechdash sets your billing currency automatically (EUR for eurozone countries, USD elsewhere). There is no separate currency picker during onboarding.
Persona: Tell us how you use Speechdash (student, journalist, podcaster, transcriptionist, and similar options).
What you want to do first: Pick up to three options, such as transcribing audio or video, identifying speakers, generating subtitles, or listening to PDFs.
How did you find us?: Pick one option (required). Choose Other to type a custom answer.
When you finish, Speechdash sends you to the homepage. Drop audio or video to start a transcription, or upload a PDF or text file to listen.
Change details later
Update your name, country, and currency anytime under Settings → Account. See Account and currency.
