Configure voice input and assistant reply languages.
Control how Speechdash handles languages in Ask questions under Settings → General.

Voice input
| Setting | Behavior |

| Same as document | STT uses the document language |
| Fixed language | Always transcribe in the language you pick |
Useful when you ask questions in a different language than the document.
Assistant replies
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Same as question | Replies match the language you typed or spoke |
| Fixed language | Always respond in the language you pick (for example always French) |
Apply changes
Settings apply to new questions immediately. Existing history is unchanged unless you clear history.
