Click the brush icon in the panel header (tooltip: Clear history to save credits).
History clears immediately. All messages for this document are removed from persisted storage.
Why clear history
- Only the 20 most recent messages are sent to the model on each reply; clearing resets that window
- Long threads increase token usage on each new question
- Starting fresh after finishing a chapter or section
- Privacy when sharing your screen
Clearing history does not affect your document text or playback progress.
