API and MCP usage appears in Settings → Credit usage. Speech synthesis is labeled API speech synthesis. Translate via API or MCP uses the same Translate ledger as the app. Create keys under Settings → API. User guide: API keys and MCP.
In-app Cloud playback can reuse cached sentences at 0 credits on replay. REST and MCP speech always generate fresh audio and bill every time, even for text you already heard in the app.
Estimates in the app show credits with a coins icon (for example 6 credits), matching your wallet.
Wallet structure
Your balance combines:
- Included credits: monthly grant on Free (20) and Unlimited (1,200); resets each calendar month
- Purchased credits: packs and referral bonuses (never expire)
Purchased credits are spent after included credits run out.

20 credits per month. Use Eco mode for unlimited listening without spending them.
