Focus the input at the bottom of the panel.
Click the mic icon to start recording (icon turns red).
Speak your question.
Click the mic again to stop. The transcript appears in the textarea.
Edit if needed, then click Send.
Transcripts are not auto-sent so you can review before submitting.
Voice input
Set your preferred speech-to-text language under Settings → General → Voice input. Default follows the document language.
Mic on playback bar
The playback bar also has a mic for Ask questions. Click to record; when you stop, the transcript appears in the question box and the Ask questions panel opens if it was closed. Edit before sending.
