Share a document
Publish an unlisted read-only link from the document More menu.
Share publishes a library document as an unlisted page. Anyone with the link can read the title and text. They cannot edit, chat, or play billed audio.
Make the document public
- Open the document in the reader.
- Open More in the side toolbar.
- Click Share.
- Choose Public, then Get link.
- Copy
{origin}/share/document/{id}.
The link stays the same if you turn sharing off and on again. Make private hides the page for anyone who is not signed in as the owner.
What visitors see
The public page shows the current completed version as read-only markdown. Transcript timestamp headers stay in the stored text. There is no public text-to-speech.
