Document side toolbar
Every control on the left toolbar in the document reader.
The side toolbar floats on the left edge of the reader. It stays visible while you listen and gives quick access to versions, outline, edit, translate, export, share, star, and more document actions.

| Export | Download PDF, DOCX, TXT, SRT when timings exist, or audio (MP3 or WAV). Advanced Export adds CSV, VTT, and section timestamps |
| Share | Publish an unlisted read-only link |
| Star / Unstar | Mark document as important |
| More options (⋯) | Copy text, show timestamps, chat, rename, folder, delete |
Outline button
Disabled when the document has no headings (H1–H3). Each outline entry jumps to the first sentence of that heading. See Document outline.
Export menu
Text export is free and uses the current version.

| Download SRT | Shown for transcriptions or TTS documents with complete sentence timings |
| Download audio | Open the audio export dialog (MP3 or WAV, billed). The menu shows the file size |
| Advanced Export | Choose multiple formats (including CSV and VTT) and optionally add section timestamps to PDF, DOCX, and TXT |

| Chat with | Opens ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Grok with "Summarize and chat with this transcript" plus the library URL |
| Rename | Edit title, version name, and document language |
| Move to folder | Pick a folder or remove from folder |
| Delete document | Permanent removal with confirmation |
Create folders first in Library if the move menu is empty.
While editing or processing
The side toolbar stays available in read mode. During PDF processing, playback controls are hidden until extraction completes. In Edit mode, the toolbar remains; save or cancel edits before exporting.
